Task 18

Well, first of all let me say that Emily has taught us all some pretty interesting things, though we may all grumble and growl, I think she has done a wonderful job. Thanks Emily!!!
Okay, I am gonna tell you guys about this fancy new system that Bloomfield got to try out for the DVD's. It's called a CD Carousel Plus. What this thing does is eliminate the need for 2 copies of the DVD case, which creates more space. After the system is set up, you just click on the icon in the mornings just like with circulation, when someone wants a movie you click the search button and scan the regular barcode (not our barcode) and it will spit the movie right out of these machines under the counter. Thanks again Emily! Good choice.
Next, let me tell you why I am gonna choose the digital camera, on Christmas Eve we always go to my mothers house. I come from a large family and I have family that lives out of state. This year, my brother came in from New York, which only occurs once a year. So, my husband takes his trusty 35mm camera. We all begin to have those picture perfect Norman Rockwell moments that you want to capture and never lose, like my brothers exchanging gifts of
underwear with crude words and my everyone feeding on Christmas dinner as though they haven't eaten in a week. These are the moments you want to keep. The battery is dead. Okay, so we lost a few moments there. Let's try more. Nope, the film refuses to load properly. Soooo, after 2 wasted rolls of film. We finally got a few good shots. Thanks a lot Minolta! So, my husband says "Honey, now I understand why a digital is a good idea." It's mine!!!
